The furthest north we got was Lake Tazawa, in Akita prefecture. It is said that this lake never freezes in winter due to the passionate lovemaking of two water dragons who live on the lake floor. I applaud the healthy sex life of this dragon couple.
This concludes the family-vacation-slideshow portion of my blog. I don't expect that I will get to experience real-life nature again for a while now, as I remain way too poor to travel far out of the city without the sponsorship of a parental unit. Oh well, perhaps I am just mopey because it's still the rainy season in Japan. That happens.
