Good thing I have a working television in the kitchen. Without it, I would never be able to tell when or if I am going crazy. "Turn on the TV." This was the first thought that came to my mind after being jolted awake by an earthquake this morning. The TV always knows what's going on.
In the time that it takes any moderately lazy person to get out of bed, enter the kitchen, find the remote and switch on the first channel available, the Japan Meteorological Agency has already issued a tsunami warning. Though the cautionary broadcasts don't concern areas as far inland as Tokyo, it will never cease to astound me how quickly this information becomes available. It took less than a minute this morning. It is like this every time.
It's almost midnight now, and it's gotten to the point where T and I can't discern light aftershocks from our own imaginations anymore, from our own nerves jolting us to play tricks on our minds.
That said, it's good thing we have a TV.
When I saw the headline this morning I came to see how you are.
Stay safe and keep us posted.
Peace,
Scout

yes, I thought of you right away...glad to hear you are ok, except of course the nerves. I'm in California so we have our share of earthquakes. Sometimes they are a bit exciting, but then other times they are so destructive it is sad and horrifying. Well... keep your head down!
